Haven't heard of lot of these? Well me either, and that's the point for the delightfully idiosyncratic tastes of the Gotham Independent committee, and alas it's also one of the very few awards bodies that has little intention or ambition in predicting the Academy Awards, although a few of these might be legitimate contenders (The Hurt Locker, A Serious Man, and even The Messenger potentially.)
